How it works

If you are a Property Owner, you have a pretty good idea of what you want, but you haven’t found an existing plan that you like. Many of our clients take a plan out of a plan book, or off a web site, or just draw their dream on a plain sheet paper.

If you are a Builder or a Contractor, you may have drawn your own plans in the past or been tied up during the day meeting with local designers. You need solid construction documents, but your time is better spent on the job site.

If you are an Architect, you have always done your own drawings or used a local draftsperson. Now, you have more work than you can handle. It’s time to out source to an experienced custom home designer.


Here is How it Works...

1) The “PRELIMINARY DESIGN” Phase

  • Complete the Contact Us form and submit it to us for review. We will contact you within 48 hours by e-mail.
  • Upon request, fax, e-mail or snail mail us your design concept.
  • When we accept your project, we will e-mail you a link to our Design Agreement page and a link to our secure shopping cart to send us your deposit (50% of the contract amount as noted on the Property Owners page).
  • We will begin working on your project within 5 business days of receipt of your agreement, the deposit, and all the information necessary to create a blueprint of your project.
  • Within 7 days of beginning to work on your project we will provide you with a Preliminary Design. By using the DWF Viewer link provided at the bottom of this page, you will be able to review the drawings and you can e-mail us back revision comments. (Even though we will faithfully draw what you want, you may change your mind when you see it actually drawn, or we may provide you with some options to choose from).

2) The “PROGRESS DESIGN” Phase

When we receive Preliminary Design Revision Comments from you we will begin revising your drawings and have a PROGRESS Design for you within 7 days. You will be able to review the Progress Design online and send us revision comments by e-mail.

3) The “CONSTRUCTION DESIGN” Phase

When we receive Progress Design Revision Comments from you we will begin the CONSTRUCTION Design Documentation which will be completed within 7 days. You will be notified that upon receipt of the balance due on your account, your complete drawings will be available online. You will be provided instructions on how you can view each document and then order the documents and quantities you want to have printed and shipped to you immediately.

After you receive your documents you can use them to have various builders bid on your project and you can select a builder of your choice because you own the plans. Structural design changes to Construction Documents required by an engineer or a civil authority will be made without charge for our professional services.

Discretionary design changes to Construction Documents are subject to an hourly change rate. All designs are 100% guaranteed for satisfaction and structural integrity. Click on Contact Us to get started.
